In a theatre cloakroom, where customers’ coats become characters, Sam’s plans force Kath to reflect on her past. Kath’s had her share of life’s disappointments and struggles and, as the play slowly reveals, one battle in particular that she can never win. Kath works in a theatre cloakroom and her friend Sam  is about to leave and join the army. As the coats come to life, Kath’s first boyfriend Kev, Kath’s mum and dad, her sister Marie and her husband Bryn illuminate what’s happened to Kath over the years. A funny and tender play about friendship between women.
