Poet, teacher and artist, born and bred in Birmingham. Hannah’s haunting yet hopeful storytelling spans themes such as female identity, relationships, heritage and mental health. Her debut collection This Dress Has Pockets was brought to life in November through Verve Poetry Press. It is her hoard, her memory bank, her adventure into the known. Hannah coached the University of Birmingham’s 2018 uniSLAM team to victory and won CoachesSLAM that year too. She went on to represent the UK at CUPSI in Philadelphia. She has performed live across the country and on radio and is a National Youth Theatre alumnus. She believes good things come to those who make. With support from:-
Cynthia Rodriguez – Mexican-British writer and performer. Topics include feminist and queer issues, migration and self-preservation. INTRSKTR collective co-founder and singer in ANATOMY.
