The Foundry Group present...

Whaddya Know – We’re In Love (Postponed)

Music and Lyrics by Jerry Rulf. Book by Brian Mitchell

Thu 21st November

AGES: All
TICKETS: £12/£10
GENRE: ,

Sorry, but due to artist illness this show is being postponed to 22 May 2020.

All aboard! Full steam ahead on SS Freedonia for the craziest show to set sail. Four musicians with a secret, a girl in a green velvet gown, stowaways, a Mediterranean monarch, and glorious, unforgettable swing era style songs make this mad-cap tribute to the Marx Brothers, Bob Hope and Bing Crosby and the Let’s-Do-The-Show-Right-Here! school of musical theatre a must-see.

Awards-winning company The Foundry Group followed the great success of Those Magnificent Men and The Ministry of Biscuits with this delightful confection. A perfect antidote to our troubled times. With a book by acclaimed playwright Brian Mitchell (Those Magnificent Menand Big Daddy Vs. Giant Haytacks) and songs by seasoned musician Jerry Rulf (regular with Andy Roberts and Hank Wangford) played live by the cast, it’s hilarious foot-tapping family fun.

Starring Radio 4 regular David Mounfield (Count Arthur Strong’s Radio Show Radio 4), Brian Mitchell (Those Magnificent Men) and Amy Sutton (‘One to watch’– Musical Theatre Review).

As fresh as the coming weekend. First-class musical entertainment….Irresistible
Fringe Review

An antidote to world politics and Brexit....with period style songs, jolly and silly lyrics, and sharp-shooting dialogue…. Not to be missed. A real treat.
Gscene

The funniest thing I've seen in years.
